Yes, all OLED displays can since they are manufactured out of organic material (Organic Light-Emitting Diode).
Xencelabs has chosen a high-grade OLED panel with built-in features that help minimize the dulling and maximize the life span of your Xencelabs OLED display.
To help minimize the dulling effect over time, you can reduce the brightness and contrast of your OLED display.
Common Questions:
What does dulling look like on an OLED?
You may notice OLED dulling as a decrease in the overall vibrancy or clarity of the display.
Is dulling different than burn-in?
Unlike burn-in, where specific images or elements become permanently "burned" into the screen, dulling is a more general reduction in brightness across the entire display or specific areas. Burn-in is a more extreme form of image retention, whereas dulling is more about overall brightness reduction.
