First, you will want to make sure that you have Xencelabs Windows driver 1.3.5-90 (or newer) installed.
You will also need to have your Pen Tablet connected using the USB cable. HP Anyware will not work with the wireless dongle connection.
If you are using a Quick Keys, it will also need to be connected to a USB cable for HP Anyware to see it.

Then, from within HP Anyware, you will click on [1] Connection, and then select [2] USB devices. | ![]() |

[5] Then select the Xencelabs device. In this example I'm connecting the Pen Display 16. [6] Then you must click OK to make your USB device available. | ![]() |
Once you have connected HP Anyware to your Xencelabs device, the status will change to connected. | ![]() |
