Your Pen Display 24 includes two USB 2m cables. Depending on how you connect the Pen Display, your computer will dictate which USB cable you use.
[1] USB-C-A is used with the HDMI or DisplayPort video cables.
This is a thinner cable that transfers the pen data from and to the computer.
[2] USB-C-C is used for the single cable connection only.
This is a thicker cable, and it transfers both the video and pen data to and from the computer. The USB-C port on the computer must have DSP Alt mode enabled for this to work.
** Both cables are 2m in length. | ![]() |
Single Cable Connection:
For the Single Cable Connection, you will use the USB-C-C cable. The end with the 90-degree bend plugs into the back of the Pen Display, and the other end plugs into a USB DSP Alt-enabled port on your computer.
The USB-C-C is thicker and used to make the single cable connection from the Pen Display to your computer's USB-C DSP Alt-enabled port.
HDMI or DisplayPort Connection:
You will also need to use the USB-C-A cable when you use either the HDMI or the DisplayPort video cables.
The USB-C-A is a thinner cable with a 90-degree bend on the USB-C side.
It is important to remember that the USB-C-C cable cannot be used in conjunction with the HDMI or DisplayPort cables.
