This is called "aging mode." It is used to test the Pen Display before it leaves the factory. 


It is possible that a firmware hick-up caused it to go into "aging mode" on its own. 


To stop the flashing, follow the instructions below. 


  1. While in the aging test mode (with the flashing colors), press and hold the Power button until the machine turns off. After turning it back on, it should switch back to normal mode.

 

If that does not work…
 

  1. While in the aging test mode, press the Power button 1-3 times, then press and hold it until the machine turns off. After turning it back on again, it should switch back to normal mode.
