The Pen Display 16 Bundle comes with an Xencelabs Hub and can connect to an HDMI or DisplayPort video connection. You will need to use the USB C-A when using the HDMI or DisplayPort connections.
The USB-A-C cable is used to transmit the Pen (EMR) functions to the computer.
When you use a single cable connection (USB-C-C DSP Alt cable), this type of connection transmits both Video and Data, which is why only one cable is needed.
