You can also try:
Check Display Resolution (macOS Settings)
Make sure macOS is using the native resolution of the Xencelabs display.
- Go to System Settings > Displays
- Select the Xencelabs display in the sidebar
- Set Resolution to “Default for Display” or manually choose 2560x1440 (the native resolution)
- Avoid “Scaled” options that don’t match native resolution, as they can cause softness
Toggle HiDPI Mode (if applicable)
macOS sometimes uses HiDPI scaling, especially on non-Retina monitors, which can result in softer visuals.
- You can use a utility like BetterDisplayto:
- Force HiDPI mode (makes text sharper)
- Create a custom resolution if needed
Note: Be cautious with 3rd-party tools, and always back up your settings.
