Please use this link to download and start the driver process: https://www.xencelabs.com/us/support/download-drivers

We also have an Online Quick Start Guide that you can also reference at this link: https://www.xencelabs.com/us/support/quick-start-guides

And if you would rather watch a video on how to install your Pen Tablet driver, please use the link below to access that:  https://vimeo.com/731275085.

Before starting the installation process, please connect the Pen Tablet directly to your computer.

If you cannot connect directly to your computer, use a powered hub to make the connection.

Once the driver is downloaded, you will double-click it. This will start the installation process.

You will need to go to the Xencelabs driver page to download the current Windows driver.

https://www.xencelabs.com/us/support/download-drivers

[1] Click on download, and this will start the download to your download folder.

This is also where you can access the Release Notes and older versions of the Xencelabs Windows driver.

From time to time, there will be a Beta driver link posted at the bottom of the driver box for you to test and let us know how it is working for you.

Once you have downloaded the Xencelabs driver. Locate it in the download folder, and double-click it to start the installation.

You will be asked if you want to have the driver installed by the Operating System. You will need to click OK.

[2] There are three boxes to check. The first two will depend on what Xencelabs devices you have. More on that in the next step.

You will need to click on and agree with the software license agreement.

For Customers with Only the Quick Keys:

[3] If you have only the Quick Keys, you will need to check that check box and then check the box that you have read and agreed to the software license agreement.

If you have both the Pen Tablet and Quick Keys, see the below step.

For Customers with both the Quick Keys and the Pen Tablet:

[4] If you have both the Pen Tablet and the Quick Keys, you will need to check both boxes.

Make sure you have checked the license agreement and then select Install.

[5] The installation process runs quickly and should finish in a minute or less.

[6] Once it has been completed, you will receive the screen that the Installation is Completed.

If you do not receive this screen or there is an error, please send an email to [email protected]

Once the driver is installed, the guided setup will start.

[5] If you select the Manual Setup, it will take you to the completed screen and then to the registration page.  And you are up and running.

[6] If you select the Guided Setup and I suggest doing this for first-time Xencelabs users. It will walk you through some key features within the Settings panel where you can customize your Pen Tablet, Pens, and Quick Keys.

You will want to make sure that the Xencelabs devices you have are attached and shown on this screen.

If they are not, connect them now and select Scan for devices.

Once you see your devices as being connected, click  Next >.

If you have a Pen Tablet, this shows you the default assignments of the Pen Tablet Control buttons top-center of the tablet.

You can change these controls as you need to by accessing the Setting panel.

Click Next >

You have the ability to adjust your pen pressure for both the 3-button and Thin pens.

It does not show it, but you can also adjust your Pen Tilt as well. This gives you a lot of fine control on being able to adjust your line quality to what you want for your workflow.

Click Next >

You have the ability to map a portion of your Pen Tablet as well as map all or one of your displays as you would like to meet your workflow needs.

You have the ability to change the orientation of the Quick Keys to meet your needs and your environment.

As a side note, any of the above setup options can be changed as you use your Pen Tablet, Pens, and Quick Keys by accessing the Setting panel.

These are the application that comes with basic presets for the Quick Keys and Pen Tablet.

You can add your own custom settings to these. If you are using applications that are not listed here, you can add those as well and customize how you use them with your Quick Keys and Pen Tablet.

These presets give you a place to start, and where you take it is completely up to you.

You also have the ability to share your custom Quick Keys setting by application with your friends.

The Guided setup is completed.
