Thanks for the post, and this is a feature I have need pushing the Linux drive team on hard. Our drivers need to be able to look and feel the same.
I have sent your request on to the driver team to review.
Please know that I do send these request as I receive them on to the driver/product teams, so they know there is interest in this feature or the feature that is being requests.

Having used my tablet on both windows and linux operating systems at this point, I solidly miss per application settings. I understand that a linux environment comes with a number of nuances that make implementing the feature difficult and inconsistent, so I would like to propose an alternative.
I have been using the export/import user settings functions to manually switch between "profiles" for a little while now, and though this system works to give me different settings for different use cases, the process is cumbersome and tedious to manage.
It would be great if we could set up multiple profiles the way that application switching used to work and swap between them either by pressing an assigned "switch profile (next/previous/go to #)" button on the tablet/quick keys or by clicking the profile header in the xencelabs configurator software.
In addition to being a helpful alternative to application switching, this would have the added benefit of multiplying the number of quick keys sets and dial modes available to power users who want to have an extreme number of bindings on the unit.
