Windows Ink is a Microsoft Pen Utility that came into existence about ten years ago that allows you to have extended control when using a Stylus or a pen-enabled tablet. It was introduced in the Windows 10 Anniversary Update, and there have been a lot of third-party developments to enhance its capabilities and features.
In short, Windows Ink adds digital pen support to the Windows operating system allowing you to write and draw on your computer screen within documents that might not natively support that feature.
To access the Windows Ink features within the operating system;
Go to Start > Settings > Devices > Pen & Windows Ink
The Pen & Windows Ink panel in Windows will allow you to customize your experience with Windows Ink.
Not all applications work with Windows Ink, but most newer applications will.
The Xencelabs Setting Panel has a Check box that you can use on an application-by-application basis if you need to turn it off for an application like Adobe CS6. Please take a look at the second image below.

First, you will need to open the Setting panel. [1] Select a device from the left-hand navigation column. [2] Then, select the application from the Application row that you want to make changes to. Once you select the application's icon, you will notice that a Yellow bar appears under the icon. This lets you know that any changes will only affect this application. [3] The Windows Ink box is checked by default. You can click on the box to un-check it. |  |
