I read your post, and I needed to check what is listed for selections on the Dial. As I thought, we, of course, it is there. You are right and it is not a selection for the Dial. It makes all the sense in the world to list it there also.
I’ll reach out to the driver team and have them add that request to their to-do list. That is a great suggestion. Thanks!

I'ld find useful to add a modifier key to the dial,
to be able to use, i.e., ctrl+mousewheelXX to zoom in and out in text editors
